Feel free to use any picture of yourself in any way that you want to. If there are others in the pictures, you might want to check back with them before posting the pictures. I take these pictures for fun and because my girlfriend is a circus artist and so I learned how much she and her friends can use good photos. I’m happy if you tag me in photos, but I’ll manage if you don’t. If you use them for a business card or so, I’d be happy to also get one, but I don’t expect any credit on such things. If you use them somewhere, it would be nice if you could notify me (also if you don’t tag me) so I can see that the pictures get good use. :)
Actually, while we are at it…
I don’t expect any money for my photography. But if you like my photos, it would be super-nice if you could choose one of them that you especially like and print it and attach a little note what you like about it – if printing is inconvenient, I’m also happy with the pure note and a reference to the picture. This has two reasons: for one it’s valuable feedback on what pictures I should focus on, and it also is some kind of applause for the photo.
The pictures I’ve uploaded are hardly edited, simply because there are too many in the first sorting, and I want to leave you with a good choice of pictures. If there are individual ones that are of bigger interest to you (because you want to post them or use them for an application / advertising your act / …), please feel invited to ask me for better copies (mentioning the file name (not the URL), e.g. 20200123-img_1234.jpg). Usually, there’s quite a bit that can be done, but I simply can’t do that for large numbers of images, most of which will stay unused. If you are into photo editing and would like to get the raw files (.CR2), that’s fine too. Just say which pictures you need.
If you want me to take a picture down, please just say so (mentioning the file name (not the URL), e.g. 20200123-img_1234.jpg) – that’s perfectly legitimate. The flickr albums I use for passing the images on are only visible with the specific link I give you, so there they are kind of private but I don’t want to spread any images against your will.
Also, please feel invited to contact me if you are performing in/around Hamburg and would like me to take some pictures, or if you have other ideas for photo shoots that you would like to do. As I said, this is a hobby for me – I’m not on the level of a professional, but I also don’t expect any money – I just like taking pictures of great people.
You can download the whole bunch of the pictures with the download link at the top of the album (creates a zip file that you can download then). Downloading individual images works just fine on laptops/… on mobile phones/… you need to switch the browser to the “desktop” view (click on the aA in the address bar of safari on iOS, similar options are in the menus of other browsers).
Of some of you there will be more pictures than of others. That’s in no way intentional.. There’s a lot of aspects influencing the number of pictures of any one of you, among them the lighting of the stage, and your positions, and me sometimes being to stupid to handle the camera (I have to toss out a lot of photos because they are completely blurry / dark / …).
